Robert Dempster's

I have decided to put my family tree as represented here, in the public domain. I have done this as I believe it will the best way of ensure that if there is someone out there who may be able to contribute to the tree, they will be able to find the link that will lead them to doing so.
The tree as presented in the public domain does not reveal more than individual's names, dates of birth, death, marriage and divorce, places associated with these dates, and of course family relationships.
I sincerely hope that this will not cause anyone to not want their details to be displayed in this manner.
I have changed my mind and added the rest of my father's maternal grandfather's tree i.e.,Thomas Wilson's family tree, to my family tree database. See the next bulleted item for more details.
I have done this in the hope that someone researching the Wilson surname, will find and recognise one of the Wilsons in the tree, and then contact me in order to collaborate with respect to either correcting, completing or expanding my family tree.
Found my first piece of the Maree puzzle. It is the Plumbstead Main Cemetery gravestone for my mother's uncle, Schalk Willem Maree, and his wife, Dorothy Strattford. He worked (taught) at the William Porter (Tokai) Reformatory. My mother stayed with his family after her father's passing. While she was there, she attended Wynberg Girls High School.
Added my father's maternal grandfather's tree i.e., the THomas Wilson tree, but only to the depth of his children and their spouses. The rest of the mechanically typed Wilson Family Tree as supplied by Jean (Wilson) Small, is accessible via a link to a PDF file. The link can be found in the narrative associated with my maternal grandmother, Martha Jolm Wilson.
Added a link to a web page I maintain for my great grandfather, Robert Dempster.
Added a link to a web page I maintain for my grandfather, George Hardie Dempster.
Added a link to a web page I maintain for my great great grandfather, Dr Alexander Wilkie Paterson.
Added what I know of my mother's brother, Edward Alexander Paterson's family.
Added what I know of my mother's sister Madeline Christine Paterson's family.
Added what I know of my father's youngest brother, Thomas Dempster's family.
Include data provided by Jenny regarding her side of the family.
Added my father's brothers, his father, George and his own siblings, and finally his grandfather, Robert and Robert's wife, Jane. Much of this work has been as a result of the inspiration I experienced when I first read Robert's pamphlets and his book(let), "The Natural Horsemen". I remain in awe of the fact that he was able to write, and at the risk of repeating myself, by what he wrote, and that he achieved all this despite his station in life.
Revamped the header section for these pages. This included the addition of the images of the horse that appears on the cover of the book(let).
After two serious attempts, I have finally given up on trying to use Ancestry24 to build and share my family tree. The main reason was the system's inability to share a family tree, and more specifically, share it on the Internet. There were also some Apple iMac issues. Ironically I have now returned for the second time to Gramps. This time I seem to be winning, and here is the proof. Unfortunately I now also have to recapture all the data that i had already stored with Ancestry24.
This site is very much a prototype, that I just had to share, give my success after so many attempts. It is functional up to a point. The first and second tabs work. The last one unfortunately closes the browser. The rest do nothing, but at least allow you to back-up. Some data may be incorrect or missing. Rest assured, I am working on that.
