I don't like SA, I love SA!

Having done a 50 km ride on Tuesday, I needed to fit in a shorter ride before the 2015 Burg Wheelers Cycle Club's Time Freight Midmar Notts Road Cycle Race on Sunday. So I headed down to the Msunduzi River to catch some of the Day 1 action of the Dusi Canoe Club Marathon.

The Dusi Canoe Marathon was founded in 1951, and covers roughly 120km over three days between the cities of Pietermaritzburg and Durban in KwaZulu-Natal, on the East Coast of South Africa. You can read more about the race by following the link provided below. The photo graphs were taken from the Boshoff Street bridge, The YMCA, and the College Road bridge.

I have actually covered this short stretch of the river with a work colleague. It was an exhilarating experience and I remain indebted to him for that. You can see some pics from that occasion by following the appropriate link provided below. I also seconded the same colleague for day one of the Dusi and have fond memories of that day as well.

Getting it to work on a device that has a touch-screen is a problem that I still have to solve.

Starred thumbnails have an accompanying comment that pops up and remains up, while the mouse pointer is over the thumb-nail.

Takes a while to load, but then proceeds quite smoothly. Looses image aspect ratio for portrait images i.e., squashes them.

If you have any comments, corrections, suggestions or plain criticism, I would appreciate it if you would communicate the same to me.
