Time to march on the Msunduzi City Hall

I recently witnessed such gross dereliction of duty by Msunduzi employees, that I was motivated to write to The Witness about this issue and several others. The Witness declined to publish my letter, so I have placed it here:

What I really want is for the residents who live in Pietermaritzburg to show themselves, not to retreat into the suburbs each night to be plagued by power and water cuts. A march on the City Hall would make a statement, make it clear that we have had enough. Public marching is not solely the prerogative of the employees of the City Hall. It is also the right of the employers of the City Hall, the residents of Pietermaritzburg.
