Last week our Grandson Ryan spent two days with us. It was a timeous visit as Edith and I had been down to Timber Solutions to purchase a Trellis Panel and some posts to support it in an upright position. His visit could not have come at a better time as the Trellis Panel had to be fitted mounted on the Flower Box that stood beneath the Scullery wisdom. The pic in the heading on the right shows Ryan doing just that. He was of course been ably assisted by yours truly. The pic in the heading on the left shows the Trellis doing what it was intended to do, screen whoever is in the kitchen form the view of those passing by.
The placement of the mounted trellis required the rocks mounted on either side of the Flower Box to be moved. No trouble, and here I should say I have been amazed at Ryan's physical development since he started studying / working at Silverhill Farm and Eco School. That and his willingness to Muck In and get what ever needs doing done!!!
The third 40+ year old pic shows me helping my Dad install fibre glass sheeting above their patio of their Welkom home to afford them some protection from the Free State SUN!
