As the title suggests, I have done photographing the Midlands. That of course does not mean it will also no longer continue to mesmerise me. So here are some closing comments and photographs:
1) The Midlands will remain a spectacular vista of farmland, plantations and hills, a nature lover's wonderland. It will also continue to be a hub for Mountain Biking, and a spectacular collection of routes for recreational cyclists that compare with the best the world has to offer.
2) The Midlands will also continue to be steeped in the history of the Zulu Nation, the Boers, and the British. They all lost sons to these Green Hills. May they continue to rest in peace.
South Africa has a lot to offer,
and the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands is a Gem in that Package.
The images taken in the Midlands that are included below are prefixed with three images showing Africa, KwaZulu-Natal, and South Africa for a GREEN-COMPARE. South Africa has a green belt down the East Coast that includes the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. Africa of course has Equatorial Africa that somewhat ironically is greenest on the West Coast.
