We are currently in the throes of a Solar Panel installation and are waiting for our Body Corporate Trustees (BCT) to come up with the relevant Rules and Regulations. Basically these will cover what can go on the roof, and how they will be positioned and fitted. Hopefully they will not involve forms. In the interim we have proceeded with what needs to be installed inside the unit.

That has mostly been completed and we now find ourselves in the process of learning to live with Essentials, Non-Essentials, and how the new DB boards, Inverter and 5 kVA battery function. Hopefully we will also soon learn what the outcome of the BCT decisions has been with regard to Solar Panels, and the Unit\' roof for which they are responsible. Hopefully we also immediately be able to get our solar systems provider back to complete the Solar Panel installation and setup.

If the South African President does become aware of what we are up to, the short answer is, "Yes, we would like to be reimbursed in terms of what ever solution you come up with to save South Africa".
