Amber Valley Zebra

Removing the Lebanon Loop
From the Bucket List
31 August 2021

Amber Valley Zebra

To ride this route one sets out to climb Khyber Pass. Edith and I have done the latter several times. The Khyber Pass climb takes you past the turn off to Lebanon, and we have never been brave enough to try it. Yesterday we did, our confidence bolstered by the fact that we were now riding e-bikes. Well it was as we expected, steep, but the road is gravel and good. The loop at the top affords spectacular views. As for the descent, well be sure your brakes are working properly, and that you have some life left in those pads. Thanks Digby and Peter who accompanied us.

Getting it to work on a device that has a touch-screen is a problem that I still have to solve.
